It should be interesting to see how things play out in this series and certainly going forward.
3 takeaways from Game 7 vs. Celtics (read here): Lastly, Matthew Hallett over at Hoops Habit highlighted his three biggest takeaways from the Bucks' Game 7 loss to the Celtics from Saturday night.
Sixers center Joel Embiid, rookie point guard Ben Simmons and power forward Dario Saric would be major players in this rivalry.
There was one sequence that summed up Simmons' game nicely in the fourth quarter.
Celtics guard Marcus Smart had the defensive job on Simmons, allowing him open shots from distance but halting him from taking the ball to the basket.
"We've got a special team, we've got a pretty good chance", Embiid said.
When asked about it, Brown said he has no plans to decrease Simmons' minutes and give more playing time to T.J. While you can trust the process all you want, the Celtics are trusting their bench players and young rotation guys for even contributions. - I'm coming back to Ben Simmons. I have to go back and watch the tape.

"They won two games at home and we have to reciprocate", Sixers coach Brett Brown said.
The Celtics jumped out to a 1-0 series lead over the 76ers following Monday night's 117-101 win at the TD Garden in the opener of the Eastern Conference Semifinals of the NBA Playoffs. Not only did they declare that they had control of the series, they also stated that they are more than superstar power. The former top pick had the worst game of his National Basketball Association career, scoring just one point and shooting 0-4 from the field in 31 minutes.
Simmons has been terrific in his first postseason as he averaged 18.2 points, 10.6 rebounds and 9.0 assists in the first-round series against the Miami Heat.
The paper went on to call Thursday's performance the worst game of Simmons' career. "It happens. Obviously, it's bad timing".
They had fought back perfectly against what the Celtics did to them in Game 1 and what they tried to do to them again last night. The Boston Celtics struggled on the road in the first round, but it's tough to argue against them being heavy favorites moving forward. The 76ers are putting up no such resistance to the Celtics, and their top players are blowing away expectations, and changing the way this Celtics team should be evaluated. They've been able to get back in transition and wall off the paint.
"Mentally, I was thinking too much, overthinking the plays and was not just out there flowing". Down by 21 with five minutes to play in the second, an offensive surge led by Jaylen Brown and Terry Rozier saw the Sixers stall defensively, and helped Boston push it to just 56-51 in favor of Philadelphia to end the half.
When Embiid was out for three weeks with an orbital fracture and concussion, opposing coaches say the Sixers played with a slight increase in pace and were more perimeter oriented, which is to be expected.
