Woman Arrested For Multiple Murders Likely Being Extradited To Florida

After almost a month on the run, Riess was arrested the night of April 19 by police at a South Padre Island, Texas, restaurant after an employee spotted her. Riess was arraigned on Saturday by the South Padre Island Municipal Court, and is being held without bond.

Riess is believed to be armed and risky and was last seen driving Hutchinson's vehicle, a white Acura TL, with Florida license plate Y37TAA. She always had a smile on her face.

Riess was reportedly arrested about 30 minutes nearby by US marshals.

56-year-old Lois Reiss's appeared before a magistrate judge in South Padre Island.

According to a spokesperson for Cameron County, Texas, both states' authorities now have 10 days to transport Riess.

Riess went missing in March after her husband was found dead. The first state to send their authorities to retrieve her will get her.

She was caught Thursday evening in Florida. The vehicle was last seen in Texas.

A day later, surveillance video showed Riess checking in at a hotel in Ocala, Fla., using Hutchinson's ID and credit card. Between April 7 and 8, Riess was spotted at casinos in Louisiana, including one where she hit a jackpot.

Higginbotham hardly calls himself a hero, but he was to Hutchinson's family.

A cousin of Pamela Hutchinson called George Higginbotham.

Higginbotham said he has seen lots of insane stuff in his time in South Padre Island, but nothing quite like this.
