Footage emerged on social media on Thursday, appearing to show McGregor and his entourage storming into the Barclays Center before attempting to attack a bus reportedly filled with fighters from this weekend's card.
UFC 223 is set to take place from the Barclays Center on Saturday, and hosted a media event in the building on Thursday. A video showed McGregor throwing a guardrail, a trash can, and other loose objects at the bus.
November 12, 2016: McGregor beats Eddie Alvarez for the UFC lightweight title at UFC 205 and becomes the first fighter ever to hold belts in two different weight classes at the same time.
The ugly scenes were condemned by UFC president Dana White, a long-time advocate of McGregor's, who called the incident "one of the most disgusting things that's happened in the history of the company".
He said: "You'll strip me of nothing you's do nothing c****".More news: Big Baller Brand Second Son, LiAngelo Ball Declares for NBA Draft
UFC interim lightweight champion Tony Ferguson has also been stripped of his belt as Saturday's matchup between Holloway and Nurmagomedov will provide the organization with an official champion. "One of these two guys will be the champion". Lobov was scheduled to fight Alex Caceres on Saturday but has been pulled from the event. The only person here who is losing a belt is Conor.
Conor McGregor said no to a last-minute fight against Khabib Nurmagomedov, according to the Russian. "I'll deal with that when it's time to deal with it".
An irate White told ESPN: "I think everybody is going to be pretty disgusted with Conor McGregor". It marks the fourth different time that the UFC has tried, and failed, to book Ferguson vs Nurmagomedov.
"It's the last fight on earth that I want to make again", White said.
With less than a week left for UFC 223, matchmakers have managed to find Khabib an opponent. When asked if he would like to "be in business with Conor McGregor anymore, he said, would you?"
His most recent competitive appearance was in a boxing match last August, in which he was defeated by Floyd Mayweather Jr.
