iOS 11.3 delivers new immersive augmented reality (AR) experiences, new Animoji for iPhone X users, access to personal health records in the Health app and more. The update of iOS 11.3 lets you monitor your iPhone battery and stop Apple from slowing it down.
The update also offers four new Animoji (for iPhone X users only) and introduces Business Chat - a new way for users to communicate with businesses in the retail, finance, and hospitality industries using the iPhone's Messages app. All these new features, including some other minor features, are now available to all supported iOS devices with iOS 11.3. To enable the option you can head to the Setting menu and then to Battery option.
Apple is pressing its privacy-conscious ethos by adding a new icon to iOS 11, showing when the company is using your personal information across its services. Normally selling for $79, the battery replacements are creating long wait times at Apple stores, and some analysts believed that may be affecting iPhone sales.
Apple has added business chat features to Messages in iOS 11.3. The new Health Records feature helps patients of more than 40 health systems in the USA view their medical records from multiple institutions right from their iPhone's Health app including information about lab results, medications, conditions and more. And if you care about security, it's always a good thing to update to the latest version of iOS.More news: 'Black Panther' becomes highest-grossing superhero film in the US
In terms of privacy, Apple says the Health Records data is encrypted and protected with the user's iPhone passcode.
In the leading world of development, the technology is moving at a rapid speed.
Starting today, according to Apple officials, patients of leading health systems such as NYU Langone Health, Stanford Medicine and almost 40 others, representing hundreds of hospitals and clinics, can view their medical records right from their iPhone. A lion, a bear, a dragon, and a skull will now be available in the Messages app, all with the ability to capture your facial movements and record your voice. The update, as expected brings onboard one of the much-required features - battery health and power management feature. To install the update, head over to Settings General Software Update.
Like Facebook Messenger, iMessage is gaining the capability to let users talk with businesses.
The new software brings a new battery health menu which shows the maximum capacity of your iPhone.
