Twitter Jeers at 'Crooked' Hillary Saying US Did Not Deserve Trump's Presidency

Meghan McCain and her fellow cast members on "The View" castigated former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday for remarks she made in India about why she lost the 2016 presidential election.

In a follow-up question, the event's host asked Clinton if she believed Putin has something on the president that could be used against him. You don't want to, you know, see that Indian American succeeding more than you are? "What that map doesn't show you is that I won the places that won two thirds of America's Gross Domestic product". Put a sock on it, get over it! "Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic - you name it".

In the end, white women are more likely to vote for Trump, or any Republican, for president if they are married, not because their husbands told them to do so, but because they wanted to. Whatever your problem is, I'm gonna solve it.

The 2016 Democratic presidential candidate spoke over the weekend at a conference in Mumbai.

"If your messaging is that you want to go back in time, that women can't think for ourselves, that our husbands, bosses, and sons tell us what to do, that's quite the message going forward into midterms and [the] general election". She won places that are diverse, which is, you know, better than all those places that aren't. "To just be grossly generalistic", she said then, "you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables". She seems to say Trump was providing an outlet for these people. "And his whole campaign, 'Make America Great Again, ' was looking backwards".

Clinton's health was a topic of conversation throughout the 2016 presidential election, after having public coughing spells and stumbling during the September 11 memorial service in New York City past year.

"I'd much rather see a leader come out and talk about some of the things that are broken, that are not working", she said.

"I was running down the stairs in heels with a cup of coffee in hand, I was talking over my shoulder and my heel caught and I fell backwards", she explained in the interview. "Or women voted for a woman because she's a woman", Goldberg said.

But it was her comments about Trump voters that drew the ire of conservatives and ricocheted across social media.
