Police looking for Raiders linebacker Aldon Smith following domestic violence incident

San Francisco police said the victim had non-life-threatening injuries.

Yesterday, police were searching for Smith after a reported domestic violence incident. He was suspended by the NFL twice for violating the league's substance abuse policy after a DUI arrest. And I'm scared for his life with his addiction, " Shawna McKnight told TMZ.com.

"I cannot comment on the altercation, but I can tell you I love him and (am) so happy he turned to my family who considers him family, and hopefully he gets the help he truly needs", Smith's fiancee told TMZ. Through his first three seasons, Smith had 42 sacks in 43 regular-season games. A year ago, he was investigated for a domestic-violence incident.

The troubled linebacker has been arrested several times on charges of drunken driving, vandalism and illegal possession of assault rifles among other charges since the San Francisco 49ers drafted him in 2011 in the first round.

Around 7 p.m. PT Sunday, Smith posted a cryptic photo to his Instagram account, saying: "Wtfoh you all are wrong". At that time, Smith conducted a freaky interview with the media following an incident last March 9. "He complied. They went and got him".

Smith was one of the brightest stars in the National Football League for the San Francisco 49ers before legal problems caused his career to come to a premature halt. He appeared in just nine games for the Raiders prior to the suspension, and he never played a down under the two-year contract he signed with the team prior to the 2016 season.
