The teaser of Superstar Rajinikanth'sKaala, which was supposed to be released on Thursday, has been pushed to Friday due to the demise of Shankaracharya Jayendra Saraswathi, the 69th pontiff of the Kanchi Mutt. The actor-producer also apologised to Rajinikanth's fans for the delay.
The film has a bevy of stars in the star cast including Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani, Anjali Patil, Nana Patekar, Sukanya, Eswari Rao, and Sayaji Shinde in the star cast. Earlier, Dhanush had taken over the social media as he revealed the first look of Rajnikanth from the film along with the release date.
Kabali fell on the face at the box office crushing all the hopes of the director Pa Ranjith and the Rajini fans. Rajinikanth plays a character called Karikaalan, and people call him Kaala. It is interesting that the two Dharavi films are separated by three decades. After having Baasha and Kabali numerous times, we can't contain our excitement for Kaala.
How Rajinikanth uses Kaala as a political vehicle will be interesting to watch. It will be released in Hindi and Telugu as well.
This is perhaps because he seems influenced by the MGR template. Robo 2.0 is also one of the most awaited films. MGR stopped acting in films only after he became chief minister of Tamil Nadu in 1977. Kaala is expected to push the envelope further in terms of digital views.
