"There is a general level of annoyance among users and many have chose to use a VPN app, or are using other risky apps or steps, to go back to the old Snapchat as that's how annoying this new update has become".
Here's how to use the new stickers.
Snapchat is rolling out a library of animated stickers that you can place on your snaps. The company tries to reassure users that the new Snapchat will adapt to them over time, and it also teased a new feature coming soon for iOS and Android that will make it easier to customize your own personal Snapchat with tabs for the Friends and Discover sections of the app.
Last month, Instagram rolled out support for GIFs generated from GIPHY, and now, Snapchat has done the same. A change that was reluctantly welcomed by some users while others started petitions to get the company to change the app back to the way it was prior to the update.
Before this attractive partnership, Snapchat had in-house designed stickers that launched in late 2017.More news: Astronomers Spot Elon Musk's Tesla Flying Through Space After Launch
As with Instagram, the stickers can also be pinned to a part of the snap to have them move, rotate or scale along with what they're attached to. The tabs will help users filter between friends' stories, group chats, and subscriptions in Discover. That being said, Tabs will still only be added to the new update, and are unlikely to solve all of users' complaints.
The app update redesigned how stories are sorted so that users have more clear distinctions between content from people they know, and content from brands and celebrities.
Recently, Snapchat has introduced Custom Face Lenses. But, millions of users have rejected the decision by signing online petitions.
Meanwhile, Snapchat CEO Evan Spiegel noted to be stick with his promise to shape Snapchat more convenient for its users and making improvements on new redesign according to the reviews.
