Xiaomi launches Redmi 5 Plus in Pakistan in PKR 18000

Redmi products have been showcased at the launch event today at 12 pm hosted in New Delhi, with the Indian head of the company, Manu Kumar Jain and product manager, Jai Mani to launch the devices in India.

One example of Xiaomi's dedication to introducing the highest quality features on all its devices is a design tailored to buffer the impact of any fall in the new Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus smartphones. It has all the latest features including HDR10 content support, which no online service provider is offering in India right now, but this apparently makes the device future-ready.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro also highlights a 5.99-inch full-HD (1080×2160 pixels) display with an 18:9 aspect ratio, and 2.5D rounded glass.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 625 chip.

To please the shutterbugs, the Redmi Note 5 comes with a 12 MP rear camera.

The phone comes with a 12MP camera at the back, and there's a 5MP camera for selfies. On top of that, it has MIUI 9. The battery on this device is a 4000 mAh Li-ion Polymer battery, which should give you pretty decent usage times. There are four color options for this device. Both these variants of Note 5 Pro also have different price tags.

If we talk about the pricing and availability, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone is priced at INR9,999.

Xiaomi will selling both Redmi Note 5 Pro and Redmi Note 5 on February 22.

It's 2018, people would now expect a USB type-C at least, several phones have started moving to the new USB standard including the Xiaomi's Mi A1 which is priced under ₹15,000. The Redmi Note 5 now features a tall 5.99-inch Full HD+ display instead of the 5.5-inch Full HD IPS panel found on the popular Redmi Note 4. Earlier seen on Snapdragon 800 series processors, this architecture is likely to bring flagship-grade performance to the latest Redmi device. It uses eight custom Kryo 260 CPU cores clocked at up to 1.8 GHz and include the new Adreno 509 GPU for graphics processing. Redmi Note 5 will be a Flipkart exclusive with a price range starting from Rs. 9,999 for the variant with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, and Rs. 11,999 for the 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 has a 12MP back camera paired with LED flash. A 12-megapixel Sony IMX 485 sensor is created to capture still images with 1.25-micron-meter pixels. Sporting large pixel (1.25μm) sensors for the main camera, front Selfie-light, as well as long-lasting batteries. The phone sports a 5MP front facing the camera with LED-selfie light.
