Palestinian shot dead after stabbing Israeli security guard

The stabber, identified by the Palestinian Maan news agency as 19-year-old Hamza Zamareh from the nearby Palestinian village of Halhul, approached the entrance of the settlement located in the Etzion bloc, and stabbed the security guard, 34, in the hand.

The wounded man was evacuated to the Hadassah University Hospital in Ein Karem.
