Wenger praised midfielder Ramsey's ability to take up unsafe positions in the penalty area, adding: "He always has between 10 and 15 goals, at least, in his locker". The quality of his finishing looks excellent. He doesn't rush it, and that's maybe the secret to being efficient. 'To have a player with his qualities sign for a few more years is really exciting for us and for the fans.
Speaking after the match Wenger had words of praise for his new signings, saying: "In the first half we were quick, mobile, technically very sharp and we finished very well". That quality of striker, on today's market, it's a very good price. He obviously hasn't trained up to speed lately with Dortmund suspensions and transfer and so on, but I mean the movement looked incredible and the chip was marvelous, although it was offside. Arsenal fans will be hoping they continue that bright start in next Saturday north London derby at Tottenham.
The Gunners had victory wrapped up after 20 minutes thanks to Ramsey's brace that started with an early goal assisted by Henrikh Mkhitaryan on his full Arsenal debut. Eight minutes later, Mesut Ozil's corner was flicked on by Shkodran Mustafi and his header in turn was met by the diving head of Laurent Koscielny to score.
After Aaron Ramsey opened the floodgates for his side in the 6th minute, there was no stopping them.
Everton briefly rallied with Cuco Martina shooting wide and Theo Walcott nearly grabbing a goal on his first return to the Emirates since his move to Merseyside but Mustafi's saving block denied him after he had sprinted clear onto Oumar Niasse's lay-off.
Aubameyang was then put through with only Pickford to beat, but could only shoot straight at the goalkeeper.More news: China denies spying on African Union, calls French report 'preposterous'
Aubameyang scored the Gunners fourth goal on 37 minutes to give the Gunners a more than commanding 4-0 half-time lead.
The horrendous nearly got worse three minutes after that but Nacho Monreal's header came back off the post and his follow-up shot a few seconds later after Mkhitarian had crossed from the right once more hit Keane and bounced wide.
Everton did manage to get a foothold of sorts in the contest 64 minutes in, with young forward Dominic Calvert-Lewin coming off the bench to reduce the arrears with his headed goal soon after being introduced.
They attacked well and came close to ruining Arsenal's clean sheet when Oumar Niasse hit the post with an effort on the stretch.
Ramsey completed his hat trick in the 74th minute, doubling his season output in the Premier League.
