Justin Timberlake Became A Mountain Man For His Latest Album

The album, titled Man of the Woods is slated to come out on February 2 - just two days before his headlining Super Bowl performance.

The teaser also features longtime Timberlake collaborator Pharrell Williams raving over an unidentified song on the album, stating, "This is a smash!"

Timberlake will release the first single off Man Of The Woods Friday, Jan. 5.

Are you interested in this woodsman Timberlake? Last year, he garnered a big hit with "Can't Stop the Feeling", which reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart. The singer said this album is inspired by his son, his wife and his family.

The trailer showcases the pop superstar being one with the elements-whether trekking through snow or standing by a nightly bonfire-with his wife Jessica Biel and son Silas.

The trailer shows clips of Timberlake in outdoorsy landscapes, with snippets from the new album playing in the background as he walks through cornfields and snowy plains describing the project as "personal".

Look, Justin, we've known you for a while now, and you're for sure not a "man of the woods". In a 2016 interview with the BBC, Timberlake declined to describe it as a country album but acknowledged the influence. The album's release during Super Bowl week will add fuel to the rumors that Timberlake might play a secret/unannounced show somewhere in town that week.
