MediEvil Remaster Announced For PlayStation 4 In 4K Resolution

It will run at 4K resolution on the PlayStation 4 Pro, just in time for its 20th anniversary.
It's also not as if the series was ever that big, so you have to ask what's the real reason for bringing it back?
Though the news was certainly a surprise, it does fall in line with Sony's previous decision to remaster the original Crash Bandicoot trilogy.
Thanks to that, Layden has indicated that he believes that PlayStation 4 will "humbly" maintain its "dominance in the video game market" during the coming year. The sound has also been remastered in full 3D audio. With the game being a complete remake of its original version from PS1, fans both new and old will be able to see the game in its purest form and share some of PlayStation's strongest titles from the 90's in an all-new light. The Last Guardian, meanwhile, will step into virtual reality through a free standalone experience that will be released on the PlayStation Store on December 12.

Lastly, there's even a free game involved too! Of course, you'll need PlayStation VR, as this doesn't work with the console by itself.
And... that was it really.
It's compatible with the DualShock 4, so PlayStation Move is not needed to enjoy this one. Although he never actually explained what it was about or what you do in the game.
In terms of new PS4 games coming out in 2018, we saw the reveal of Firewall Zero Hour, a new PSVR shooter, and confirmation of a MediEvil Remaster. So it's a good job we already got plenty to look forward to...
