Capcom has announced plans for Mega Man 11-the first new game in the cult classic franchise since 2010-just in time for the game's 30th anniversary on December 17. Second, Capcom confirmed that the Mega Man Legacy Collection 1 and 2 would be coming to the Nintendo Switch in 2018.
You can check out the first trailer for the game below.
Details are pretty much non-existent at this point, owing to the fact that Mega Man 11 won't be out until sometime in late 2018. Instead of the pixel graphics that grace all of the other games in the main Mega Man series, Mega Man 11 will offer more modern visuals.

Notably, Mega Man's costume will change shape as he equips new weapons (not just its color).
It was no wonder that people really noticed the absence of Mega Man in Marvel vs. Capcom 3 and its Ultimate version. Capcom today officially announced during a special Mega Man livestream event the upcoming release of Mega Man 11. Mega Man 9 and 10 were both developed by Inti Creates, so this is the first internally developed Mega Man platformer since Mega Man X8. It's a style that's likely to be divisive among fans, but you can form your own opinions by watching its announcement trailer above. Players who already own the titles on a PC, PS4 or Xbox One will get the feature patched in soon. It's not clear whether the company plans to release them in a compilation, or available à la carte.
Capcom will have more news on its upcoming projects, including Mega Man 11, throughout 2018.
