The last bridge of the Constitution took us to visit the province of Pontevedra, focusing mainly on the coast. Undoubtedly, the dates chosen are propitious to see a good number of species from the northernmost area, which spend the winter on these coasts of northwestern Spain. Specifically, we visit, from south to north, the port of A Guarda, Cabo Silleiro and Polveiras islands (Baiona), Lourido beach (in Poio), A Seca park (in Poio), Combarro beach, of Gándara and Xuqueira de Alba (Poio-Pontevedra), the intertidal complex Umia-O'Grove, the Towers of the West (in Catoira), the natural park of the dunes of Corrubedo, and the castro of Baroña. By clicking on the links above you can access the complete list of species observed in each locality. Below I show some pictures.

The most interesting, no doubt, the Carinegras barnaclas that there was in the park of A Seca, in Poio. They had been in the area for quite some time, so I decided, one day, to go and see them. And there was luck, although it took a little bit to find them.
