Black Friday mall brawl breaks out in Alabama shopping center

He tells us the fight was personal in nature.

Hoover police and firefighters responded to the shopping center after 11 p.m. on at least one fight in a store on the mall's second floor.

The Riverchase Galleria mall was originally slated to be open until midnight on Thanksgiving. No arrests were made in this incident.

The Black Friday 2017 brawl ended up hurting other shoppers.

Watch video of the Hoover, AL brawl above, via Claire Huddleston. In the footage, police were seen arresting a pair of women while a group of others grappled in the background amid scattered inventory.

Many people in Alabama do not even have to wait for the balances of the Friday insane to fight in a store on Thursday evening. As KMIZ-TV reported, one person was shot outside the Columbia Mall in Missouri.

There was also, originally, a report of gunshots fired.

Another video showed a Black Friday fight at KMart, where a shopper attacked an employee, throwing the man to the down and reportedly shattering his hip. News reports will likely emerge pointing to a shortage of humans going out into meatspace to try saving half a penny on a veggie spiralizer.

There were reports of several arrests stemming from the fights, but efforts to confirm that with police weren't immediately successful.
