Overwatch's new healer Moira will do anything for science

Blizzard Entertainment kicked off BlizzCon 2017 the right way, giving Overwatch fans plenty of reasons to celebrate during the opening ceremony.

Using her left hand, Moira expends biotic energy to heal allies in front of her.

As a support hero, Moira is of course first and foremost a healer, and her Biotic Grasp proves that. "Once she's charged Coalescence, Moira can save multiple allies from elimination at once or finish off weakened enemies".

Fortunately, she found a new home in Overwatch's covert ops division Blackwatch, who came to her with an offer she couldn't refuse. And finally, Lucio isn't the only support hero with serious moves: Moira's "Fade" power gives her some really nice mobility options for getting into position or out of trouble. Her main attack is either an ally heal beam or a long ranged life-steal beam that hurts enemies while healing Moira. She, like Reaper, fully aligns herself with Talon, which also includes Doomfist, Sombra, and Widowmaker. She is a genius and controversial geneticist that is now aligned with Talon; also, a formerly affiliated with Blackwatch.

Over a decade ago, Moira published a controversial paper that detailed a methodology for creating custom genetic programs.

"In addition, other geneticists were unable to reproduce the results of Moira's research, which further called her discoveries into question".

"Her employment was a closely kept secret, until it was uncovered during inquiries following the Venice incident".

"Though O'Deorain will go to any lengths to make scientific breakthroughs, her work is still unknown to most of the world". Now freed from her constraints however, she's set to break out into the spotlight once and for all in the very near future...
