Suspect in Maryland killings also linked to Wilmington, Delaware shooting

A gunman opened fire at a Maryland office park on Wednesday morning, killing three co-workers and critically wounding two others, authorities and the business owner said. Police say the two wounded victims are being treated at a nearby hospital, where they remain in critical condition.

"This does appear to be a targeted attack, limited to that business", Gahler said, noting that Prince likely used a single weapon in the deadly incident.

Major William Davis said investigators are involved in a manhunt for the suspect, who he identified as Radee Labeeb Prince.

He said authorities had helicopters in the air and law enforcement on the ground looking for Prince, who is believed to be driving a black 2008 GMC Acadia with the DE license tag PC 064273.

Prince is considered to be armed and unsafe, officials said, and he has a criminal history although officials did not elaborate.

Police are on the scene of a shooting at a Maryland business park north of Baltimore. Court documents obtained by the local paper indicated that he had a restraining order filed against him for punching the coworker in the face and threatening other employees. In March 2015, he faced multiple gun charges, including being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Baltimore Sun reporter Justin Fenton contributed to this article.

Authorities say Prince shot five employees at Advanced Granite Solutions, where he also worked.

He said it sounded like it was coming from a business about a half-block away.

Kevin Doyle of Thornhill Properties said he was getting tools from his truck when he heard screaming and saw three men running from the office park.

A park and much of the surrounding area around the business park were on lockdown amid the search for Prince.

Yellow crime scene tape cordoned off Advanced Granite Solutions on Wednesday afternoon.

The sheriff said authorities checked an Elkton home after the shooting, but Prince was not there. He said it is Harford County's investigation and he could not release any additional information.

To date in 2017 there have been 285 mass shootings - defined as four or more people shot or killed, not including the shooter - in the United States, or almost one per day.
