Xiaomi To Unveil Mi Mix 2 On September 11

It is expected to come with 6GB of RAM, a Snapdragon 835 processor and a 4,500mAh battery.

Now, a new leak has emerged, and from the looks of it, it's aimed at taking the hype surrounding the device to a completely new level. Now, if these specifications are true, then this device would become the first non-Google device to have Android 8.0 out of the box and also the first device to have Snapdragon 836 chipset.

Xiaomi officially made an appointment for 11 September, in which representatives of the Chinese company will tell and show Mi Mix 2. There could be a possibility that the phone could support 3D mapping features, if Xiaomi is adventurous enough to take on the new realm of AR-based capturing like Sony has. For those who want to be unique, there's nothing better to make you stand out than a one-of-a-kind smartphone like the Xiaomi Mi MIX.

The other aspects that the Xiaomi Mi 7 is believed to arrive with include 6GB/8GB RAM, a dual rear camera system comprising a wide-angle lens and a telephoto lens. Recent leaks have said the Mi Mix 2 will offer several variants, including one with 256GB of storage. Xiaomi Mi MIX 2 Launch expected to be in the mid of September.

As you can see, there's a sign that says "Introducing a new series by Xiaomi" at the beginning and the end of the teaser.

As per the screenshot, the upcoming Xiaomi smartphone will run on Android's latest operating software- Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box with a touch of MIUI 9. This is in line with the previously suggested 93 percent screen-to-body ratio on the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2. But, it is noteworthy that Snapdragon 836 chip is yet to be official and Mi Mix 2 is launching on September 11, which is next week.
