"It is possible a couple of the strongest storms allow a brief tornado or waterspout to spin up", meteorologist Richard Schraeger said in AccuWeather's forecast.
The storm was expected to make its last landfall Tuesday night and, once over land, be picked up by weather patterns to push it along. Harvey looks like he will be out of here just in time to say an unofficial goodbye this weekend to Summer 2017.
Tropical Depression Harvey will bring on and off rain to start the weekend in western Pennsylvania. Expect a mostly sunny day on Friday, but temperatures will struggle to get above 70, if they get there at all.
Temperatures Saturday and Sunday will be in the 70s.
Although clouds are predicted for Saturday, forecasters said Sunday and Monday are projected to be sunny and warm.
The remnants of Harvey will move through west and middle Tennessee Friday. Most areas are anticipated to see between a quarter inch to half an inch of rain.
In meteorological circles and for data gathering, the seasons follow the calendar with the summer months beginning June 1 and ending August 31. Those amounts are between 15 and 20 percent higher than average.
