#ICYMI: Taylor Swift's 'Look What You Made Me Do,' Annotated

These are the deep questions I have been pondering since the release of Look What You Made Me Do, the latest in a long line of grudge tracks from Ms Swift.

The 27-year-old is then seen dressed as a biker, a celebrity crashing their sports vehicle, a bank robber wearing a kitty mask and a dominatrix.

The long-anticipated single came following a social media blackout and a series of cryptic videos of a snake.

People are also buzzing that the lone dollar bill floating in Swift's tub among the diamonds is a nod to the symbolic $1 settlement she won this summer when a jury found that a radio host had groped her.

The video opens with a gravestone reading "Here Lies Taylor Swift's Reputation", and an undead Taylor sings the opening lyrics.

She appears to poke fun at her relationship with ex-boyfriend Tom Hiddleston with her backing dancers wearing tops with "I (heart) TS" on them.

It's after fans compared their videos.

When Swift's headline-hitting vid was unveiled at the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, the night's host Perry, 32, was The One That Got Away, noticeably absenting herself from the stage. "There she goes playing the victim again", while another added: "I would very much like to be excluded from this narrative". At press time the "Look" video had amassed more than 74 million views.

One of her dancers took to their Snapchat account, which was later picked up and shared via a Taylor Swift fan site on Twitter, to show her followers the attractive white bouquet she'd been sent and the sweet note that came with it.

The single is the first of many from a new Swift album all due for release in November, titled "Reputation".
