Not all the money saving comes from cars; it's in the business model: where we produce the cars, the fact Dacia are sold off the back of the Renault network, often in the same dealership. Dacia has made the headlights wider and has also modified the front bumper by installing a silver skid plate that sort of looks like a bullbar and is made from a special type of scratch-resistant plastic.
At the side, the higher belt line adds an impression of strength and occupant protection. The windscreen has been brought forward by 100 mm compared with the current Duster and is more steeply raked, which makes the cabin longer.
New aluminium roof bars also extend the line of the windscreen for a more dynamic profile.
The ongoing success of the Dacia Duster has prompted the firm to take an evolutionary approach to the design of the updated SUV. Horizontal lines and lights positioned at the extreme corners heighten the car's solid stance. There's a new 17-inch wheel design, too, as well as a bold orange colour. The model now gets a Dacia's typical lighting theme with four red stacked squares, for a funky look. The new Duster is created to combine robust, muscular styling with a assertive personality that is emphasised by a brand-new body colour, Atacama Orange.More news: Weeds imdb trivia browser based warcraft logs drenden guildsmen.
Through a major expansion programme - which included rolling out in the United Kingdom in 2012 - Dacia sold more than four million cars a year ago. The new model is likely to make its way to India next year.
New gen Renault Duster is available as an all terrain capable 4×4, and a versatile all terrain 4×2 with a high-set driving position.
Dacia has renewed Duster (sold under Renault in India) which boasts modern, all-new robust styling. Official specifications and engine options will be revealed at the public debut, ranging from the 1-litre to 2-litre petrol engines, while the 1.6-litre diesel in Europe could be replaced by a 1.5-litre unit.
