Chelsea midfielder Bakayoko on Drinkwater talk: He doesn't scare me!

The Englishman has seriously been linked with the Blues recently with Antonio Conte identifying him as a great player that will help him at Stamford Bridge.

Sky Sports, however, are claiming that it will take a huge offer for the Foxes to consider selling one of their star men before Thursday's transfer deadline.

After learning of Chelsea's interest earlier this summer, Sky Sports report that the England worldwide is keen to move to West London where he will compete for a place in the starting XI with the likes of N'Golo Kante, Tiemoue Bakayoko and Cesc Fabregas.

The England global also seems keen to play at Stamford Bridge and sample more Champions League football, but unless Chelsea make an improved bid and give Foxes boss Craig Shakespeare enough time to find a replacement, the player will have to stay put in the East Midlands.

New signing Bakayoko insists he is not threatened by the possibility of Drinkwater joining Chelsea.

"Competition only makes you better. I am not scared of anyone", Bakayoko told French media SFR Sport. But I'm ready in every case to continue to work with the players we have'.

"We need another midfielder to reinforce the team, so it is a very good thing that he could be coming".
