Érik Lamela and Danny Rose will continue to miss time with the squad, the former having been out since October of previous year and the latter missing since January. And I'm pretty sure if Spurs don't sort something out, over the next year or so, there'll be more'.
Now, I appreciate Danny issued an official apology following his rant about THFC.
They still do not look 100% confident at their new home in Stratford and the flops of last season for example Sofiane Feghouli are still in the West Ham squad. "It's time to move on".
"Our idea was, the same as before, to try to provide the team with more strength and try to sign a few players before the end of the transfer window".
But among the six, Spurs are the only club not to make any major signing so far.
"No, no, no. It was more outside of the club. With the players we have we can compete in a very good way".More news: De Blasio wants to tax the rich to fund NYC subway improvements
"We have a very clear philosophy", Pochettino added.
"We've had one season in the Championship, which everyone enjoyed because we won a lot of games and got that winning mentality back".
"Football is about communicating on the pitch".
Tottenham's form at Wembley is bad in recent years, particularly last season when they knocked out of the Champions League at the group stages following defeats to Monaco and Bayer Leverkusen. "This matter is not a problem for myself", Pochettino said.
As for Costa, that situation needs to be resolved as soon as possible.
"Since January he's been working hard to fix his problem and our medical staff are working hard with him". For me, it's important for him to be focused on his recovery. Pochettino didn't opt to divulge any names, but that's what we're here to help you with.
"Of course (he has a future at Tottenham)". Nothing has changed in my vision or perception of him. The moment he apologised, we moved on. "It's in the past now".
Tottenham Hotspur start the new Premier League season with a tricky trip to St James' Park to take on Newcastle United on Sunday afternoon. He is still recovering from knee surgery and is not expected to return to Spurs' lineup until early September.
