Perisic included in Inter squad

Manchester United are keen to sign Croatia global Ivan Perisic from Inter Milan this window.

James Ducker of the Daily Telegraph reports that United have settled on a £44million fee with the Serie A giants but are "scrambling to wrap up" the deal before Inter fly out for their tour of China on Tuesday afternoon.

The Croatia global has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United but has nonetheless been named in head coach Luciano Spalletti's 28-man party.

Inter have issued a hands-off warning to United in recent days, however, leaving boss Jose Mourinho to concede that he has "no idea" if the wideman will be joining.

And was then named in Inter's squad for their trip to China, where they will play four matches.

Journalist Miguel Delaney does however, claim that Martial will not be included in a deal for Perisic.

As reported by ESPN, Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho had a sift response when asked how his club's alleged pursuit of Ivan Perisic was getting on.

And after adding Perisic to the list, it seems he is ready to battle with bitter rivals Liverpool to sign Naby Keita.

The Croatian global has just come off the back of an excellent campaign that saw him score 11 goals and provide 12 assists so he'll certainly add some much-needed creativity to a United attack that only registered 54 league goals last season.

Wins over LA Galaxy and Real Salt Lake are a step in the right direction but there is n doubt United need more quality additions, with a holding midfielder and a quality winger arguably the final pieces in Mourinho's jigsaw.
