Women in WH Earn 80 Cents on the Dollar Compared to Men

The gender pay difference nationally is 82 cents for women against every dollar for men and as of 2015, federal government jobs' pay gap was 11 percent, according to a CNN look at an Office of Personnel Management report.
While Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner's roles in the White House have earned scorn and concerns about nepotism, neither Kushner nor Ivanka are receiving salaries for their positions assisting the president.
In a disappointing but unsurprising analysis, CNN found that women working in the White House are earning less than their male counterparts.

Ivanka Trump took her plea for equal pay for equal work directly to CEOs at a Tuesday summit at the White House. Most top White House staff-including Steve Bannon, Kellyanne Conway, Omarosa Manigault, Reince Priebus, Sean Spicer, and 17 others-make $179,000 annually. On average, women working for the White House earn less than men. In addition, two of Trump's key advisers, Gary Cohn and Christopher Liddell, are each receiving a salary of $30,000 - the lowest in the White House.
Mr Trump appears to be maintaining a smaller staff size compared to his predecessor Mr Obama.
Trump released to Congress on Friday an annual report detailing his White House staff, their jobs and the salaries they earn.
At the time, press secretary Josh Earnest admitted there was space for improvement of female representation at the higher-salaried levels. "It shows the priority you place on the issues surrounding women and girls", she said.
