'Sachin: A Billion Dreams' made tax free in Odisha

The movie is based on the life of the legendary cricketer and revolves around the extraordinary career of the batsman, who retired from worldwide cricket in 2013, and also touches upon his personal life.

The movie is expected to receive rave reviews from all corners considering the colossal number of fans that "Master Blaster" has.

Sachin: A Billion Dreams, a biopic on legendary cricketer Sachin Tendulkar, is all set to release in theatres this Friday.

Dhanoa also told Sachin that the biopic was releasing on a very significant day, as 26th May is also the day on which Air Operations commenced during the Kargil war. A R Rahman has worked on the music for Sachin: A Billion Dreams with the voice of his celebrated collaborator, Sukhwinder Singh. "When I finally agreed to the film after a lot of convincing from my producer, I was clear in my mind that if I do this movie the first viewing has to be for the Indian Armed Forces". The State Finance Minister Sashi Bhushan Behera declared the news saying that the entertainment tax on the film has been waived. The film was shot in English, Hindi and Marathi and has been dubbed in Tamil and Telegu for the South Indian audience. Bollywood celebrities like Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan have all shared their excitement on social media for the much-awaited film. Sachin also invited PM Narendra Modi to the premier during their meeting. Only two days are left for the release of the movie.
