Law Roach can't get enough of working with Celine Dion

"To be here, it's still emotional, because I can still feel and see what happened previous year".

Celine Dion took the stage Sunday night at the Billboard Music Awards to perform her hit song "My Heart Will Go On" from Titanic. The huge climbs and lung-busting notes in "My Heart Will Go On" have stymied many karaoke singers, but Dion once again demonstrated her impressive vocal range and ending the song with lovely melismatic run.

"I think after the first few days in Paris (Couture Week 2016), she kind of trusted me. And the song itself has kind of transcended kitsch and camp value to become a beloved classic, precisely for how over-the-top it is, which is a pretty remarkable arc for a song to go through".

The 30-year-old actress was seated alongside a star-studded list of musicians for the ceremony at the T-Mobile Arena - but her personal highlight of the evening was getting to meet Celine, who she subsequently described as her "idol".

Dion sang the soulful number while scenes from the Oscar-winning film featuring Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet played in the background.

The French-Canadian singer chose to wear an angelic white gown with enormous sleeves that reminded fans of the iceberg that collided with the Titanic in 1912.

"I said, "Forget about the rest of all the 15 racks you brought me, this is it", Celine added. "I knew when she saw it and she tried it on, it was just (gasp), and when you have that (gasp), you know it's the right one".
