Nurses, through the use of the nursing process and commitment to improve patient care have always been influencing change in the bedside, hospital and community. Nurses are even more critical of the impact of insurance reimbursement changes, saying new insurance policies do more to worsen care by a 33-point margin.
"The next generation of British nurses are being put off joining what is still a great profession". Between 2006 and 2013 alone, Title VIII supported more than 520,000 nurses and nursing students, as well as numerous academic nursing institutions and healthcare facilities.

The Nursing Workforce Reauthorization Act of 2017 is supported by the American Nurses Association, the American Association of the Colleges of Nursing, and 51 other national nursing organizations.
