Unbreakable / Split Sequel Announced; Bruce Willis & Sam Jackson Return

The Split sequel - entitled Glass - is now officially in the works with Blumhouse and Universal Pictures and has a release date of January 18, 2019.
Shyamalan's latest project aims to build on the box office success of Split: according to The Hollywood Reporter, that movie cost $9 million to make and made $275 million worldwide.
The director loves a good twist at the end of his movies but Split had the biggest one yet.

The news came on the same day Ridley Scott revealed he has a script to bring Russell Crowe' s Gladiator hero back to lfe. The film will be called "Glass", with McAvoy and Willis both returning. Now, Shyamalan has revealed details for the third film in the shared cinematic universe, Glass. "My new film is the sequel to #Unbreakable AND #Split".
So when Bruce Willis gave a surprise cameo as his "Unbreakable" character David Dunn in last year's "Split", fans knew something special was in the works.
