Trump's Mar-a-Lago visits costing Florida thousands, documents show

He arrived at his club host before 10 a.m., and the White House staff has not yet said what he's doing - which is usually a good indication of what's he doing.
ALLEN: In West Palm Beach, several hundred protesters marched along the Intracoastal Waterway to a bridge just a few hundred yards from Trump's Mar-a-Lago resort, including Robert Saplin of Tamarac, Fla.
According to a tracker maintained by the Palm Beach Post, Obama golfed 333 times as president, or once every 8.8 days in office. Most of that time has been at Mar-a-Lago or nearby golf courses, but it also includes side trips the president has made to Tampa, Melbourne and Orlando.

Then there's the controversy over the cost of his trips to the Southern White House. "We will see what happens!"

Trump, who has not yet traveled overseas as president, insists he's focused on making deals with foreign leaders in a bid to create a more secure planet. When pressed on the issue, he said he doesn't think most Americans care.
Mr. Trump's frequent Mar-a-Lago meetings with foreign dignitaries and US officials have also raised ethics concerns, as they take place on private property, away from public view. He has hosted both the Japanese prime minister there, and the President of China.
Every president should be afforded leisure time, of course - running the free world is a hard, aging-inducing job. "You don't have time to take time off".
