Top Hezbollah Commander Mustafa Badreddine Assassinated By Own Group: Israeli Military

Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah was behind Badreddine's assassination alongside Iran's Qassem Soleimani who led Quds Force, a branch of Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), say reports.
On Tuesday, Gen Eisenkot said the Arab media reports that Hezbollah had killed Badreddine matched the "intelligence we have". Hezbollah is considered a terrorist organization in Israel.
Both the USA and Israel believed 55-year-old Badreddine to be Hezbollah's military commander in Syria.
The anti-aircraft missile was sacked by the Syrian military after Israeli fighter jets bombed "targets" in Syria.

The Lebanese militia fought a one-month war with Israel, its primary enemy, in 2006.
However, Russia's foreign ministry on Monday acknowledged it had summoned Israel's ambassador over Friday's air strikes, which were close to Moscow's forces near the historic Syrian city of Palmyra.
