Whether or not the Tech controller series will be quite as good quality as the Pro controllers remains to be seen. It'll be available from 25th April and will retail at $69.99. Similar military-inspired controllers can be expected as Microsoft continues to roll out the series ahead of its scheduled Project Scorpio launch around the holiday season.
This controller has all the other usual features included in the revised edition of the controller that launched with the Xbox One S a year ago, including improved wireless range and Bluetooth. It will also have the same features as other Xbox One controllers and works on both Windows 10 PCs and Samsung Gear VR. The back of the controller, meanwhile, has a textured diamond rubberised grip for "added control and comfort". Copilot mode allows players to bind two Xbox One controllers as a single input device, making a variety of games accessible for players with physical disabilities or mobility impairments.
