Apple iOS 10.3 Public Beta 3: Enhancements, Improvements and New Features

Five months ago, Apple released iOS 10, the newest major version of its mobile operating system.

The upcoming iOS 10.3 version will introduce several new features, including a new Apple File System and - causing the most buzz among users - a "Find My AirPods" tool that provides a map showing the phone's last known location when the ear phones were plugged in.

Apple recently rolled out the third watchOS 3.2 beta for developer testing on Apple Watch.

The watchOS 3.2 beta 3 brings a new Theater Mode, which allows the users to automatically mute alerts on their Apple Watch and prevents waking the screen on wrist raise or arm movement. It might also track workouts and helps in searching photos. Users will also be able to remotely prompt the earbuds to play a noise so they can be found more easily. Here are the iOS devices that will be compatible with iOS 10.3.

The new betas, following standard Apple procedure, were yesterday first released to members of the Apple Developer Program ($99 per year).

Beta versions of the operating systems are made available via over-the-air updates once beta testers have the proper certificate installed on their iOS device.

As expected, 24 hours after the release of the Beta 3 developer builds, Apple pushed new Public Beta builds, the third in the current development series, for iOS 10.3 and macOS Sierra 10.12.4, which anyone who owns a supported iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Mac device can install. Application compatibility can be accessed by opening "Settings" and selecting "General" and then "Applications". It also featured an "AirPlay" toggle.
