UFC Fight Night 105: Lewis vs

He was never charged with a crime, but that didn't stop Derrick Lewis from slamming him about the incident when given the chance.

Lewis entered ranked eighth among heavyweight contenders and has won his last six fights while Browne came in at No. 9. And he again brought up a 2015 allegation of domestic violence against Browne stemming from an incident with his ex-girlfriend that ended with the UFC closing an in-house investigation after finding "inconclusive evidence". "Where's Rond Rousey's fine ass at?"

"I just knew I had a bigger heart than him (Browne)", said Mr. Lewis after the fight, underscoring the resolve he had in coming back after being hurt in the first round.

Immediately after the fight, Travis Browne was taken to the hospital to tend to his injuries, according to TMZ.

But Lewis (18-4) came out swinging early in the second and soon had Browne (18-6-1) covering his face near the cage.

"It was more just trying not to s-t on myself", Lewis elaborated at the post-fight press conference.

"I just gotta do No. 2, that's all", Lewis said.

Browne used a potent attack of kicks to the body to chop away at Lewis, who showed the ill effects of that game plan nearly instantaneously as he grabbed at his midsection after the first shot landed flush.

"I don't want to hear anything about fighting for the next three months".

"I just need to go out there and do the best that I can and this is a chance for me to go out and show everyone what I can do and hopefully move up in the rankings". The Welshman looked like he had the upper hand having dropped Santos with a big right in the first, but in the second the Brazilian landed a sensational spinning wheel kick to send Marshman to the mat.
