Nicki Minaj Blasts Giuseppe Zanotti on Social Media

"I met Giuseppe Zanotti years ago", she wrote on Twitter. There are now thousands of tweets about the situation, and many of Minaj's fans seem to support her stance. The rapper said the designer once told her she inspired him to create a sneaker in her honor, but when she asked him to partner with her on something bigger, she was turned away.

Meek Mill's ex-girflriend further suggested that if fans go to Google, you can see the series of shoes and collections "named after me". "Lil black girl can inspire (you) but ain't worth a collection?" Well now, the female emcee is using that very phrase to call out famous shoe designer, Giuseppe Zanotti.

Nicki Minaj summoned her "barbz" on social media to get the attention of designer Giuseppe Zanotti after he failed to respond to her request to host a meeting. It's just the disrespect.

Minaj could be referring to Zanotti's recent collaborations with other music artists Jennifer Lopez and Zayn Malik.

All Giuseppe Zanotti shoes featuring the distinctive spelling of Minaj's first name have now been removed from the company's website.

Just hours after Minaj publicly slammed Zanotti, the hashtag #GiuseppeWhatsGood - a reference to the time the rapper called out Miley Cyrus on live TV - began trending worldwide on Twitter.

"Recently when he gave other artists capsule collections, my agency reached out and was told they're not taking our call", Nicki Minaj continues.

This social media rampage comes after Nicki's Los Angeles mansion was burglarized of almost $200,000.
