LG G6 Prototype Photos Leaked; Images Show Dual Camera, Rounded Screen

The image shows an LG G6 that features a finish similar to that of the Galaxy Note 7 or iPhone 7.

The Mobile World Congress (MWC) scheduled for February 26 in Barcelona is less than a month away. The best thing about LG G6, if rumors are to be believed, is that it's going to be 20% cheaper than its predecessor.

This leaked image of the LG G6 is really different from the previous images as it shows off its shiny rear, predicted to be made out of glass. We can also see "G6" tattooed near the bottom of the phone. The images, as produced by DROIDLIFE could have been taken from LG's R&D department as it seems to be under testing with wires protruding out of the back panel. This time, we're treated to nearly the final version of the smartphone.

But, a close examination will also show that the dual camera on the rear side as well as the fingerprint scanner has been placed accurately as explained in the previously leaked renders of LG G6. It is not possible to say if the corners of the device will be rounded or not from the leaked images, as reported by BGR.

What we do know about the handset is that it will use the new 5.7 inch display that LG revealed recently, this display comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2880 x 1440 pixels and 564 ppi.

It is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC with 4GB RAM on board giving you enough room for multitasking.
